Hi all,
I'm relatively new to blackbox and I have a question about booting into
blackbox. Currently, I have the following setup: RH 6.0 install, BB version
0.60.3 (about to update it to 0.61.0), previous WM was KDE 1.2 (on a P60
with 24MB (wicked machine ;) )). Right now I boot the comp in runlevel 3,
log in and type startx. I have the line "blackbox" at the end of my
/$HOME/.xinitrc file. What I would like to do is boot into runlevel 5 and
log in with the WM running (just as in KDE). When I switch to runlevel 5
now, the X-server starts, but BB isn't loaded (I just get the standard
background with the X cursor) and I have to Cntr-Alt-Backspace to kill it
and get back into runlevel 3.

Is it possible to do what I want to do? (Common sense says it should be.) Do
I have to add "blackbox" somewhere into /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc or
/etc/X11/xinit/Xclients or is it something else? BTW, FYI, I used to have a
/etc/sysconfig/desktop file with KDE in it, but I removed the line in it.
Didn't help, though. I read on Dan Williams' page (in the KBB HOWTO) that I
could edit the startkde file. Will that solution maybe help (I want to put
in KDE-support anyway, so I think I will try it anyway)?

Thanks and regards (and sorry for all the brackets),
Wouter
