i agree completely, that is why i will be forking the blackbox code in
order to create 'whitesphere'. it will be based on imlibs 1, 2, and 3 and
also svgalib and libc.so. whitesphere will also support the .bmp format,
which is the best. and if you have a monster goober X60069-87 video board
with 88 teraglobs of VsDzXram, you will be able to take advantage of 46
frame 3d animated root window icons (with sound effects).
oh and also, whitesphere will have support for an infinate number of user
configureable titlebar buttons. each button will light up and play a
different musical note through the pc speaker when pressed, and can be
bound to a hotkey. this way, you can use your desktop as a keyboard
controlled musical instrument. the default configuration comes wired to
play the finale of chopin's third piano sonata every time you type ctrl+1,
now how cool is that!
