I personally like the toolbar quite a bit just the way it is. It seems
you don't like it at all. Hide it and get on with your life.

Its not hard to patch, do it yourself. The present behavior and choices
are quite sensical, imo.

It doesnt sound like you like it all that much, since you call key
features dumb and lame. Let me clue you in to something: Blackbox isn't a
window manager written for the lowest common denominator. You can't
configure every little thing. Why is that? Because _that_ is lame.
