I would like to start off by saying I like bb the way it is. I have tried all
the others and I always come back to bb, it's fast and light and with a good
theme looks pretty damn sweet. That brings me to my question, I am fairly new
to linux and to bb (only be into it for about a year) I have tried recently to
install some of the fonts that come with the themes for bb. Here is what I
have been doing so far:
mkfontdir /usr/share/fonts/misc
xset fp rehash
sudo /etc/rc.d/init.d/xfs restart
then checking xlsfonts to see if fonts where installed.
That has only partly worked I still am not able to use these fonts in bb, snap,
mints-strong, mints-mild, and a few others. I can however use them for example
by doing a xterm -e mints-mild or whatever and the fonts work in the xterm. I
know I have to be doing something a little wrong.
