This topic has been beat to death I know, but I really dont see the problem
with people suggesting new features. It stimulates thoughts that could
make Blackbox better then it currently is. I am not saying that every
feature requested gets put in. It is also not our call. It is Jeff and
Brad's. And they are extremely busy people, so for now the policy is "Send a
patch."
I dont think the problem is with people suggesting new features, but how we
respond when a feature request is made. Instead of sitting down and really
thinking about the feature, we see the word "feature" and automatically
start composing a flame to the individual. In my opinion this is
counterproductive in the larger scale of things.

How come you don't ever hear about gruntled employees? And who has been
dis-ing them anyhow?
