I'd personally like to see dual- or triple-slits, too, but the consensus on
this list and on #blackbox (irc.openprojects.net) is that this will not happen
any time soon.
It sounds like gkrellm would be a good tool for you; the gkrellm title shows
the hostname of the machine it's monitoring, and lots of useful information is
shown. Just a thought.
