Still struggling with bbkeys. Let me give you the story.
I'm running Debian 2.2, with Blackbox 0.61.1-1. I downloaded the
latest bbkeys rpm and converted to deb with alien, then installed
- this seemed to go well.

I have a .bbkeysrc in my home directory which looks like this

KeyToGrab(F1), WithModifier(Control), WithAction(Workspace1)
KeyToGrab(F2), WithModifier(Control), WithAction(Workspace2)
KeyToGrab(F3), WithModifier(Control), WithAction(Workspace3)
KeyToGrab(F4), WithModifier(Control), WithAction(Workspace4)
KeyToGrab(Left), WithModifier(Control), WithAction(PrevWorkspace)
KeyToGrab(Right), WithModifier(Control), WithAction(NextWorkspace)

and in ~/.bbtools a bbkeys.bb file which is unaltered from its
pristine state.

I have four workspaces defined. in my ~/.blacboxrc.
The bbkeys binary is in /usr/local/bin which is in my shell path.

Ctrl-<F2>gets me nowhere - no joy with any of the keybindings
above above.

Any ideas?
