What I do....
Compile and install into my home directory.
Set the path to include ~/bin
Set the OW_WINDOW_MANAGER variable in my shell login scripts to "blackbox"
Login via cmd line
Start OpenWIN with the following:
openwin -dev /dev/fb0 defdepth 24
