I don't want to burst your bubble or anything but I think that there are a
*huge* number of people who are going to be able to ignore gnome for a *very*
long time. Errr, KDE, or hadn't you noticed that more distributions defualt to
KDE rather than gnome?

... see above. I don't want a KDE vs GNOME war here, this is BB after all, but
I just thought this needed to be pointed out. There is *no* GUI standard, as
others have said, you use what you want and if your not happy, you write your
own. HP and Sun etc. only choose GNOME due to KDE's dodgy liscencing at the
time, I think if the choice were made now, things would be different...

Anyway as I said, make your choice or code your own, but don't bully people
into accepting "standards" merely due to comercial backing.
