hi

i use bb for some time now as a window manager, and only found one (two, but the other
is not bb specific) little problem so far...
all the java applications i run start in a small window, like 20 on 10 pixel.
sometimes the window is even so small that i can't click/resize it (i had a 1 on 1
pixel window). it seems that bb is ignoring the size the java programmer gave his
windows...
i have no code, as these are all commercial/closed source applications. it works fine
in other wm's...
any help is appreciated...

now my other problem... it's not window manager specific afaik... but _very_
annoying.. maybe somebody can help ntl...
i use a shell which is called 'powershell' which opens many shells in one window, with
a tab to switch through the different shells... this worked fine until i switched to
X4 or to BB or to slackware, i can't tell... the problem is, only the last 'tab-shell'
get's keyboard focus.. even if i tab to another shell, all keyboard input goes into
the last opened shell.. it works fine if i have _no_ window manager installed... any
ideas/directions?

greetz & thanks

Flavio
