I would like to mention that I do NOT have that problem with Java in BB.
A *wild* guess would be that the application does not have a
(min|max|recommended) size, and that therefor BB does not know how to
display the window.
However, all Java-applications I have here (some of my own) work just
fine - if anybody has an example app, I'd give it a try.
