Ever use KDE?

I use bb as my window manager and like to do all my development out of
terminal. I have parts of KDE installed from CVS source (The bleeding edge
is cool), plus I get to pick and choose what I want.

I use a KDE application called Konsole which will do exactly what you are
talking about. Works great, maybe give it a try.
