Ok ... The reason why I didn't put it in my own ~/.xinitrc is that, somehow, it doesn't care about it. So the only way was to put it in the system file in /etc/X11/xinit. Maybe somebody could help me out? (how do you make .xinitrc 'active'??) Thanks.
