Funny you should mention having interest _and_ time. =:) I'm working
on a new application, based on the QT widget set, that will allow the
configuration of every aspect of blackbox. It's called, oddly enough,
bbconf. Runners up to this were bbwibbler, bbsexy, and bbboggle. Umm.
=:) Anyway. I'd love to find such people that have some of each of
{ interest, time, skills }.
This app will combine the existing bbkeysconf app, totally rewrite and
integrate the toolbox app, and integrate an as-of-yet unwritten app that
will configure blackbox's menus. I'm doing early design work with QT
designer and will most probably be working on laying the thing out and
getting the base classes in place for the forseeable future. I've
created a sourceforge.net project to allow for other people to help me
if they're so willing. xOr has been helping out in a big, big way with
bbkeys and I'm hoping he'll also have time to help with bbconf, but I'd
love to hear from anybody interested in this.
Please e-mail me, anyone, who's interested. And yes, for the up-front
design, I want to stick to QT designer files for easy manipulation, so
consider that a prereq, as well as C++ skills, and a love of obfuscated
Xlib code. =:) Blargh. That is all. News at 11. Hug a tree, etc.
