The main developer recently sent a couple messages to this list describing
his future coding plans.
I am also interested in this patch; but since I am too busy to do it
myself, I will silently and patiently wait for someone else to contribute
their valuable time.
I am sure if you offer to pay someone to do the patch, it will be done
immediately. (Even someone who is too busy -- like me -- or not interested
would be willing to code the patch if appropriately paid.) Depending on
the need, many open source projects are financially funded.
