Run the KDE screen saver you like (kbat.kss or something) in the
following way:
kbat.kss -install -delay 1
In this case the kbat screensaver will install itself, and after 1
minute of inactivity it will pop up.
You can place this into your ~/.xinitrc somewhere before the "exec"
line:
kbat.kss -install -delay 1 &
Anyway why on Earth have you installed KDE, if you agree with the
minimalist philosophy of blackbox instead?
