It may be that this is possible under blackbox, I am not sure.
If it is a big issue for you then you can do this easily with
either the Ultrix Window Manager (UWM) or with CTWM. You might
think that using them is a bit retro, but for all their ugliness,
they operate very efficiently without decoration.
