blackbox honours the size an application requests, perhaps the java widgets make odd requests?. I personally do not have anything java installed, guess I will have to play with this some. I vaguely recall seeing this discussed on the lists before but do not have time to search right now. If you do, just try searching for java, should not be too many hits.
