What i did was to go into KDE and add "Blackbox" to the list of window managers that KDM would put into its drop-down, then go into /etc/X11/Xsessions and add in a case for BB: Blackbox) #whatever progs you want auto-started, put here. exec /usr/local/bin/blackbox ;; there are probably better/easier ways to do this... definately read the manual and FAQs.
