The 'active window' argument isn't one I necessarily agree with, but I will admit it is a good one. > To this I reply: what is a bbtool? I don't know about others, but I actually made the point that nothing in the toolbar couldn't live just as well as a bb-style app. I just like it in the toolbar. > If so, let's move the corresponding code to "bbworkspace", "bbwindow", > etc, and then everybody places whatever combination he likes in one > single "toolslit". This is where I don't agree. As it is, the slit is of minimal value to me. I use it for storing a couple of apps, but bbpager (which I also like) makes it look like absolute crap. I have seven regular workspaces. If I stack them horizontally (as I prefer) the slit also has to go horizontally to store it otherwise I waste a hideous amount of screen real-estate. But, if I orient the slit horizontally, the other few applicataions I run in it force the height to be roughly three times the height of the toolbar. In short, I find it useful to use both the slit and the toolbar _and_ run bbapps outside both. Again, just my opinion, take it for what it's worth. -Joe. -- Joe MacDonald :wq
