I haven't replied to any of these messages just yet but I'd just like to
say that I like the functionality given by the toolbar--it's a place I
can look and see the time and the currently highlighted window--and I
wouldn't like to have a single toolbar-slit combination. I like the
toolbar where it is and I like the slit being somewhere other than the
toolbar. I don't think it would be right to have licq in the
toolbar-slit along with the date and current workspace. I don't think
that would fit well.
