This can't be entirly true. There is an api for getting monitor boundries,number of screens, ect. . Regardless of what is the correct behavior, it seems that there is a strong want for 'xinerama support'. If the code is conditionaly compiled, and would have no impact on those who don't want it, I can't see a problem with it...? MarcoF
