It's not that odd : Often I'm working on coding projects and I have an xterm thats barely visible. I use this term to compile, I just have to do [up][enter] then, during compilation, I raise the window. Being able NOT to raise a window to fully interface with it is something I like(d) in blackbox. I would be grateful for a menu that toggles that behavior. Eric
