hi, I just found one plugin(http://limechat.net/inputswitcher/) to restore the option in leopard.

It helps a lot, with QS and also with other apps.

A better way might be to get the wonderfulQIMChinese IME <http://
glider.ismac.cn/RegQIME.html> It is far superior to Apple's default
Chinese IME and it also allows you to switch between Chinese and
Roman (English) input with the mere press of Caps Lock.

And better yet, Apple would fix the "allow different input source for
each document" in the international preferences pane :-p This way
through the OS you could set English to be the default Quicksilver
language. But at least in 10.4.11 this doesn't work consistently at
all :-p Maybe it was fixed in 10.5.x?
