Sorry I missed that you were using gcal and not ical. The syntax I
suggested only works for the iCal plugin.
The email handler is unrelated.
The manual says the following on the Google Calendar plugin:
http://mysite.verizon.net/hmelman/Quicksilver.pdf
"As of B51, people have reported various problems with this plug-in.
The plug-in does not use Google Calendar's Quick Add function so the
parsing of information isn't always correct. Some people report the
wrong date being entered. Also the entire string entered is used as
the text of the event and newly created events don't inherit the
default reminder setting."

Still not working. In preferences > handlers, my email is set up as
Google Notifier, and just straight-up "Gmail" is not an option. Could
that be it? Although it doesn't really make sense, since the events
ARE being added to my calendar on the right day, but always but always
at 12PM. Something in Gcal prefs, maybe?

Hi,
I have no problem adding events to gcal with quicksilver, except
they
all come out at 12PM, regardless of what / how I include the time in
the command.
E.g., "Lunch with Chris at Trident 2PM Friday," "2PM Friday Lunch
with
Chris at Trident," "2pm Lunch Friday with Chris..." -- all give me
an
event called <whatever I wrote> at 12PM in GCal.
Am I missing something?
Thanks!
