The way Ubiquity works is similar and dissimilar to QS. Ubiquity is
more similar to the Enso launcher for windows then it is to QS (I
think). I don't know if you would be able to catalog items.

For example to do a google search, I do this -

-I press shift-enter (my command for summoning Ubiqiuty0
- I then type "google" (or just "g" if no other sugestions come up)
- Then I press space and enter my query
- I am then given a preview of the first few results (which I can
click to get to them directly)
- If I press enter I'm then get the google results page in a new tab

To get my last email, I do this -

- summon Ubiquity
- Type "last-email"
- Enter my password for gmail if required
- Then i get shown a small preview
- If i press enter, gmail opens with my last email, in a new tab (I
have trouble getting this part to work, so this is what i assume
happens)

Here is a link to a script for windows that makes Ubiquity more
"Ubiquitous"
http://www.lifehacker.com.au/tips/2008/10/08/make_ubiquity_more_ubiquitous-2.html
I would hope that if QS gained some sort of Ubiquity support it would
be better than this though

Thanks
