Do you have Switch to Text Mode If No Match is Found activated in the Command section of the Preferences tab of Quicksilver's preferences? What is the spacebar behaviour set to there? Do you have the trigger active for Command Window in Text Mode in the Quicksilver section of the Triggers tab?
