Is there a way to send both attachment and text at the same time using QS alone(ofcourse, Mail.app will work in the background)?

No. I use Compose for such email and fill in the text or attachment.

One often overlooked trick. Compose an email message, write the text. When you want to add the attachment, bring it up in the first pane of Quicksilver (which is fast because it's QS) and then drag directly from the first pane to the email message (in Mail.app). It's using QS as a convenient drag source. Yes it uses the mouse, but I find that ok. If not, use the Paste action to paste it into the message, it will appear as an attachment.
