Are you saying that if you have one file selected in Finder, and then
press ⌘⎋, QS will pop up with that file selected in the command
window, but if you have two selected in Finder at once and press ⌘⎋,
it doesn't work? If so, that is very weird, and will need more
examination to figure out.

Or do you mean that if you use ⌘⎋ to bring a file into QS and then try
to use ⌘⎋ to bring in another file, it doesn't do what you want? If
so, it sounds like you simply haven't learned about the wonderful
"comma trick" yet. If you have a file selected in QS already, and want
to add another, press the , key. Then you can add another item to the
list of selected items using whatever means you want.
