I don't think so. Anything that goes through the main command window
needs a return to execute. You can define triggers to run without a
command window but they can't use two sequential keys, only a single
combined keystroke like shift-command-F.
Actually, Howard, there is one exception to the requirement of a
modifier key needed to launch a trigger.
At least one that I know of. Mr. Cripster2009 could attach Launch
Firefox to F1, and Fast Logout to F2; and so on until he has used up
all the function keys.
That's a good point, I should have thought of that :)
In the Keyboard and mouse System Preferences you would need to select
that the previous built in functions for the function keys (volume up/
down, mute, etc.) would require that the fn key be pressed. This is in
order to leave the keys free for use by QS triggers. That is the only
one key trigger possible. 12 or more possible depending on the number
of function keys on your keyboard.
Yep. The setting for the fn key is for apple laptops, not desktops,
in case anyone is confused.
I hope this helps Cripster2009 get some use out of QS with his
disability.
