No problem. In general on the Mac, reinstalling the app doesn't remove
preferences from ~/Library/Application Support/ or ~/Library/
Preferences/ or other places in ~/Library/. It just deletes the app.

while QS is not running and try restarting QS. You'll need to
recreate

With no plugins installed I'm curious as to what trigger you are
trying to create and use.
