My volume (audio) isn't acting normally. Here is what I think caused
it.
1. Activate Quicksilver
2. Mute the volume (unknown if other volume adjustments will produce
the same effect).
3. Close Quicksilver

The result is that while the menu bar and pop up graphic may show that
the volume is now muted, the computer isn't actually muted.
Notifications, music, and all other sound still plays at the volume
that was set before muting while Quicksilver is up. Further,
adjustments to the volume via menu bar drop down slider and via Fkey
controls do not actually change volume.

I'm currently running B54(3815) on Macbook with 10.5.6.

Anyone have any thoughts? Or can you at least help me figure out how
to get my volume working again and I'll just pay attention to not
having QS open when I hit mute?
