It's better than using the QS web search plugin with a trigger and the
current selection proxy object?

I just swtiched to LB last week because of QS crashes. I wasn't using
custom triggers but I am totally satisfied with LB. In fact, I like it
much better chiefly because of the search templates. I do many, many
Google phrases searches during a day and with LB, I can do them in a
couple of keystrokes as opposed to the multiples it took before.
HIghly recommended.

i was wondering what experiences people have had moving to Launchbar
from Quicksilver. The single biggest drawback I noticed was the lack
of triggers and it was so significant that I moved back within two
days.
I do have to mention that LB appeared more stable and quite
responsive
when compared to QS. The latter seems to hang from time to time and
is
not very amenable to experimentation.
If Launchbar supported triggers then I would be very tempted to move
but I am also apprehensive about the coming snow leopard since I have
had mixed results with the beta version I have been testing on a
secondary machine.
If any others her have some pointers or views on launchbar ( didn't
see anything with a forum search here ) then please share them.
Thanks.
