Yes I am also experiencing this. I have Quicksilver b56a7 on the retail version of Snow Leopard.
I read on a website that to solve this, you can go to the Quicksilver Web Search List, http://docs.blacktree.com/quicksilver/web_search_list, and bookmark the web searches that you want. Then configure the bookmark to a trigger and it'll work fine, as Quicksilver b54 did in Leopard. I have tried it, and it does solve the icon problem.
