Just thought I would share my experience with SL and QS. After following above on one machine, I tried variations on my other two machines.
I found that deleting the cache folder and the plugins folder and plist was enough. ~\library\caches\quicksilver ~\library\application support\quicksilver\plugins ~\library\application support\quicksilver\plugins.plist editing the qsdefault.plist didn't make a difference. The only issue I see now, is the preferences. Each option from app dropdown (preferences, triggers, plugins) opens in own window - there is no menu on left side to switch between the above. And the preferences option shows a blank window. All in all, not bad for an app that's not been developed for how long ;-) ps I am still using last official release
