I feel like I've seen it discussed here, but I can't say for sure. What I can say is that I started from scratch with B56a7 after installing Snow Leopard. (Losing years of configuration wasn't as hard to recover from as I thought it would be.) I also have some triggers that won't stay active and I haven't been able to rename them most of the time. So it's not your machine.
