Actually I think B54 is the better one for Leopard though certainly
some plugins have issues. I had much more problems with B56a7 on
Leopard. As with everything with QS, it depends what you're doing with
it. Best bet is to disable everything you aren't using. Then see if
anything you are using is causing problems.

As for the original poster, that version of Quicksilver is no longer
under active development and is known to have problems with 10.5 and
later. For a functioning build, see <http://github.com/andreberg/
Quicksilver-B5X/downloads>, but be warned that some plugins haven't
been updated to work with newer operating systems.
If this build still crashes, your best bet is to move aside ~/Library/
Application Support/Quicksilver and reinstall your plugins one by one
until you find the ones that are causing the crash.
