Along similar lines, I tried to make a trigger pairing current
selection (or finder selection) with the "open with" action. However,
the list of apps that the third pane can choose from is practically
useless. No Preview, TextEdit, Word, Skim, etc. Just random apps that
I never use and have been cluttering my "open with" list for ages.

This problem applies to both the latest "for SL" version and beta 54,
on OS X 10.6.2. (I've lost track of how many times I've switched back
and forth between versions just to get things working, only to find
that the switch broke other things. The latest version is not
"snappier" at all -- there's a definite lag time.)
