The only example of similar behavior I can think of is the iTunes module. You can access artists, albums, and songs, but they don’t clog your catalog. I think this has to do with the way the plug-in was written and not with any combination of settings in Quicksilver. We don’t have the source, so I don’t know if Quicksilver stores all your iTunes data, or processes it on the fly as you arrow into things. My guess is the latter. Anyway, the delicious plug-in could probably be modified to work the way you want. The best chance of this happening is to do it yourself (which isn’t as hard as it used to be).
