Hi Pedro, I had the same problem with my German OS 10.6: I had to enter the english name of System Preferences etc.... But some day it worked - sorry, I don't remember what I did to solve that problem. Maybe rebuild the catalogs ... :-(
Anyway, now I can enter the German words and find the correct item - however sometimes the english name is displayed in the results list (e. g. Disk Utility.app)... Sorry that I can't help you any better, but try to rebuild the catalogs or maybe try a more recent version of QS if you did not install the newest beta.
