olivier - i have your exact same problem and i have had it for at least a year if not longer. i have learnt to live with it as it occurs once a week at most and once a month at least if memory serves me right.
i just bring up the 'delicious bookmarks' catalog in the first QS pane (i changed the name from social bookmarks but its the same plugin) and then tab and rescan. takes a few seconds and its back online. i theorized that this is happening because it sometimes fails to connect to the delicious server and then considers the database empty. this is by far one of my most used QS plugins and a major favorite. i've set my delicious bookmarks catalog to show up with a ctrl-D trigger via QS triggers. amazingly useful. i have not found the same usefulness from the safari history plugin partially because it needs to rescan and i feel that this type of catalog needs to be continuously updated. cheers.
