I seem to have figured out what the issue was, although I'm not quite clear on why this is causing issues.
If I enable the "Finder" catalogue, it adds my Pictures folder (from sidebar), which contains far too many pictures. Same goes for adding my home folder as a catalogue. This crashes Quicksilver when I try to search for something. Seemingly irrelevant, if I enable "Load Previews" in the Appearance settings, Quicksilver starts crashing again, despite what catalogues I have set. This is true no matter what interface I select.
