If you mean pasting a URL into the first pane and adding an abbreviation for it, that won’t exactly work. The URL needs to exist somewhere in your catalog (meaning you can call it up without pasting). There are lots of ways to get URLs into Quicksilver. * Index the bookmarks from a browser (using that browser’s plug-in) * Add the URL to the Shelf (with the Shelf plug-in) * Put the URL(s) in a text file and add a custom catalog entry that scans that file And there are probably others I’m forgetting. Also note that characters that make up the abbreviation have to appear somewhere in the name of the thing (but not necessarily next to each other). -- Rob McBroom <http://www.skurfer.com/>
