Firstly, your first question:

This is a known bug with Apple's Finder.app. I have reported this to Apple
multiple times, but they seem to be doing nothing about it.
the more people that report it, the better: http://bugreport.apple.com/ :)
The only solution at the moment is to use ⌘G

Your second question:
The 'Send to Quicksilver' service is intended for use by the user (you),
and the 'Get Current Selection (Internal)' service is intended for
Quicksilver's 'Current Selection' proxy object.
We are aware that this is confusing for users, and hope to fix it soon.
See https://github.com/quicksilver/Quicksilver/issues/409 for more
information.

I hope this helps!
