activating it on folders or apps?

To see the metadata or get a better look at the icon. I’ve done it more than
once… but I admit that’s not very important. This discussion so far has always
lumped files and folders together. If you treat them differently, your
suggestion starts to make more sense. (It’s still not for me, but I can see the
use-case.)
woohoo

> I also feel that the spacebar is such a fluid key which is much easier to use then
other keys. Granted it might not be for everyone but as I mentioned in the other thread
there are already 6 other spacebar behavior options so I don't see the harm in adding one
more "smarter" option:)

Or two. I just want it to switch to text mode when I’m “typing” and Quick Look
the rest of the time. I don’t ever want spacebar to do what / does.:-)
Great, i will keep an eye out for those two options in the next release ;)
