Aah fantastic! I've noticed the issue for quite a long time, but only just got serious about finding a solution.
Perhaps some kind of asynchronous parsing, so QS doesn't beachball while loading the page. Not sure if that's feasible, but beachball-avoidance seems like a noble goal to me!
