Heh, a very old problem indeed ;-). Originally it showed up when you installed one of the Triggers plugins (e.g.: Mouse) then disable it, but I fixed that one by disabling the trigger and showing it as "Unknown".
Quicksilver *should* spew some errors in Console.app when that happens, if you can copy/paste those here then that would greatly help.
