An interesting idea, but here are a few alternatives:

* Create a folder of QS Command objects for each thing you'd like to do,
and add that to your catalog.
To create a command, set up the action(s) you'd like in Quicksilver and
press ⌘↩. Then use the 'save command to file' action
You can then create a trigger for "My command objects folder" ⇥ Show
contents, and just search for the command you'd like then hit ↩
* As of the next (next) version of Quicksilver (not ß71, but the one
after), Triggers will be much more customisable. Here are some features:
    * Flexible app scoping. Scope the same keyboard shortcut to different
triggers depending on the current application
    * Flexible 'hold' duration: Use the same keyboard shortcut for
different triggers. The length you hold the keyboard shortcut for defines
which trigger is executed.

What you've suggested is an interesting feature, but it would likely be
quite a task to implement it, and I think there are plenty of alternatives.
