I use it with the trackpad all the time. It just watches the movements of the 
cursor. It doesn’t matter where the movements came from. The forthcoming 
updated version makes this more obvious in its documentation.

The same is true for “mouse triggers” (provided by the Mouse Triggers plug-in, 
not Abracadabra). They’re based on cursor position, not a specific input device.

I think what you’re talking about is the kind of stuff you can do with 
BetterTouchTool. That would be cool, but nothing is planned. And since BTT can 
be used to simulate a keystroke, it might make more sense to just use that in 
conjunction with Hotkey triggers.
