Thanks for pointing out the difference. I couldn't make Abracadabra work 
with no modifier. Any hints?

Yes, I thought of BTT-like gestures. Ideally, a plugin would eliminate the 
keyboard step in gesture > keystroke > trigger when using BTT + QS.

But at least I now know I can set the same trigger as hotkey and gesture 
(or mouse) with different, complemental scopes to avoid interferring with 
overlapping shortcuts in Terminal processes.
